Annual flu vaccination is one of the simplest and most effective things you can do to protect yourself and the people around you each winter. We will be offering NHS flu jabs from September 2026.

This service launches in September 2026. The information below is what to expect when the service goes live. To register interest in advance, drop us a line on hello@sellypharmacy.co.uk.

Who is eligible for a free NHS flu jab?

The NHS offers free flu vaccination to several priority groups each autumn. Eligibility for the 2026/27 season will be confirmed nearer the time, but typically includes:

  • Adults aged 65 and over.
  • Pregnant women.
  • People with certain long-term health conditions (e.g. diabetes, heart disease, asthma, COPD).
  • Carers and household contacts of immunocompromised individuals.
  • Children aged 2 to 3 years (offered by GP), and school-age children (offered through school programmes).

If you are not eligible for a free NHS jab

We will also offer private flu vaccinations for anyone aged 18+ who is not eligible for a free NHS jab but would like the protection. Pricing will be confirmed closer to the launch.
