About travel vaccinations
Our travel clinic looks at where you are going, how long for, what you will be doing and your medical history. We then recommend the vaccinations and advice you need to stay well abroad.
Depending on your trip, this may include vaccines such as hepatitis A, typhoid, hepatitis B or cholera, along with advice on food and water safety, insect bites and malaria risk.
Who it is for
- Holidaymakers, backpackers and gap year travellers
- Students heading abroad for study, placements or volunteering
- Anyone visiting friends and family overseas
How it works
- Book online and tell us about your trip
- Attend a travel consultation at Bristol Road or on campus
- Receive your recommended vaccinations and a personalised travel health plan
Good to know
- Book 6 to 8 weeks before you travel if you can, as some vaccines need more than one dose. Last minute trips are still worth a consultation.
- Bring any previous vaccination records with you.
- If you need a vaccine we do not provide, we will tell you where to get it.
